Assets and amounts
A token symbol describes an asset. It does not uniquely identify the representation your integration can trade or move.
Exact representation identity#
Resolve each asset through the catalogue for your environment. Retain its chain, token, vault where applicable, decimals and ingress status. Never infer routing from a display symbol or reuse an illustrative address for funding.
Atomic integer strings#
Monetary amounts use integer strings in atomic units. Avoid floating-point money arithmetic. A quantity of 25 units with six decimals is 25000000 atomic units.
The synthetic order examples distinguish base quantity from price scale. With a price scale of 6, limitPrice 920000 describes 0.92 quote units per whole base unit. Quantity steps and price ticks come from the versioned market contract.
Bounds and fees#
Gross debit, net output and fees are distinct. Preserve the representation and denomination of every leg. A displayed price alone does not authorize a debit or guarantee a net amount.
Final execution fee and slippage rules are unresolved. Do not infer live fees from synthetic arithmetic examples.
Balance observations#
Available, reserved, pending and provisional amounts are not interchangeable. Do not add alternative finalized/provisional views together or count capital and shared-resource projections as separate balances.
